Fears, a rant

How does one get fears? Do you get fears from watching horror filled movies are stuff like that. Is it even possible to have a fear of foam or a spoon or something else quite innocent? Is fear just in are minds or in reality. I know I have a fear of one of my imagine of a shadow person/thingy , he scares the hell out of me. I've seen only three time all near dusk or dark , soooooo I'm pretty sure there from insomnia. I like to see some one scared of a spoon , probably be funny to see him. He/she just walks past her/his counter or table and see a spoon and then just run from it. Or if some one is scared of water. I'm pretty sure fear of spide
